NSW Health and Medical Research Sponsorship Program

Supporting health and medical research events held in NSW

The NSW Health and Medical Research Sponsorship Program supports medical research institutes, peak and professional bodies, and not-for-profits to host events that strengthen health and medical research capacity, capability, and collaboration. By encouraging collaboration, the Program is building meaningful partnerships and creating powerful synergies across the sector.

The Program reflects NSW Health’s commitment to advancing and translating research and innovation, while building the skills and capabilities of a responsive, future-ready workforce.

Previous rounds have supported a wide range of events, each with a focus on different priority areas to drive growth across the health and medical research system.

Application and submission process

Guidelines and the application form are on NSW Grants and Funding.

The Program focus for this round is to support events, (held in 2026) that are new or emerging, including those with an emphasis on building reputation and making an impact in the sector, with a core goal to build health and medical research capacity, capability, and collaboration.

Funding is aimed at recipients who may not have access to other sponsorship sources and is available for face-to-face, virtual or hybrid events.
