Dr Jean-Frédéric Levesque is an Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity at the University of New South Wales. He has authored more than 150 peer reviewed publications and his seminal research on healthcare access and inequity has been cited more than 2,000 times.
Jean-Frédéric Levesque has a Medical Degree, a Masters in Community Health and a Doctorate in Public Health from the Université de Montréal, Canada. He brings extensive leadership in healthcare systems analysis and improvement, combining experience in clinical practice in refugee health and tropical medicine, in clinical governance and in academic research.
Kim leads the Office for Health and Medical Research. Prior to her appointment to OHMR, she held Director roles at the Agency for Clinical Innovation and the Bureau of Health Information. Kim is a health services researcher with experience in performance measurement and reporting, evaluation and assessment of quality, and change management in healthcare organisations. She played a central role in the development of performance measurement frameworks in NSW and the UK and co-authored a series of reports on the English NHS quality agenda. Kim holds a Master of Science from London Hospital Medical College, a Master of Business Administration from Imperial College London and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. In 2022, Kim received the Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to NSW Health.
Kate has over 20 years’ experience in marketing, communications and business operations. She has worked on public-health campaigns; communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for high profile issues; and has provided advice to senior executives and government on strategy, policy, financial and operational initiatives. Kate's experience spans across corporate, government and not-for profit sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration.
Director, Commercialisation and Strategic Partnerships
Anne has over 25 years’ experience in the health, medical research and policy sectors. She is responsible for leading the development and implementation of major policies and programs to enhance medical research capacity in NSW, and raise the profile of NSW research and development nationally and internationally. Anne is responsible for the NSW Medical Device Fund and NSW Commercialisation Training Program – both have been critical to accelerating the development of NSW intellectual property and the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in NSW. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Physiology and Pharmacology) (Hons) and an Executive Masters of Public Administration.
Danielle is an international development and public health research professional with 25 years of experience in the higher education and government sectors.
Throughout her career, Danielle has led projects focused on driving impactful collaborations in health, with global engagement and partnerships central to her career. Passionate about access and equity in healthcare, Danielle is committed to supporting Australia’s pivotal role in advancing innovative medical research to improve global health outcomes.
She thrives in multidisciplinary environments, bringing strategic leadership and a collaborative approach to complex research initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences, Master of Science, Master of Public Health and has actively pursued professional development such as the Dr John Yu Fellowship, Asialink Leaders Program and language courses.
