The NSW Health Research and Innovation Strategy 2025-2030 sets a clear vision for the next decade, outlining priorities to improve healthcare outcomes and equity for patients by strengthening research and supporting innovation. It provides a roadmap for advancing medical breakthroughs, strengthening healthcare delivery, and enhancing the experience of delivering and receiving healthcare, while driving efficiency and sustainability to support NSW’s long-term prosperity.
We play a key role in turning this vision into action. Through targeted funding, strategic partnerships, horizon scanning and policy support, we foster collaboration between health services, academia, and industry. These efforts enable growth, scale innovation, and ensure research translates into real-world benefits for patients and communities.
